THS: How long have you been a Certified Massage Therapist? Tell us a bit about your training.
Amy: I started my training in 2008 with Informational Bodywork at Pacific School of Massage & Healing Arts, and I continue to expand my studies. I have studied locally at Five Branches, Twin Lakes, and most recently, I graduated from Mount Madonna Institute. I also incorporate wisdom from Ayurveda and Chinese medicine into my work.
THS: What inspired you to become a Certified Massage Therapist?
Amy: My mama and the desire to have a positive impact on the world.
THS: What do you enjoy most about your practice?
Amy: Inspiring people to be aware and to take care of themselves, helping them find the root of their issues, and seeing transformation as pain is eased and awareness is increased.
THS: What do you love most about working at the Tea House Spa?
Amy: The kindness of clients & coworkers, the serenity of the space, and the tranquility found there.
THS: What are some things you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Amy: I love being in nature, creating nutritious dishes, enjoying life with loved ones, and traveling.
