Jane Carlson is one of our newer therapists who recently relocated to Santa Cruz from New York. Jane’s therapeutic style will help get you back in action if you’re worn down from summer activities.
THS: How long have you been a Certified Massage Therapist? Tell us a bit about your training.
Jane: I have been a nationally certified massage therapist since 1996. I graduated from Boulder Collage of Massage Therapy with advanced training in orthopedic massage, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, integrative, and deep tissue. I’m also certified in canine massage.
THS: What inspired you to become a Certified Massage Therapist?
Jane: In receiving regular bodywork myself, I realized that’s what I was drawn to doing.
THS: What do you enjoy most about your practice?

THS: What do you love most about working at the Tea House Spa?

THS: What are some things you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Jane: Hiking mountains, snowboarding, being with my dog, Zhen, and during “down” time, I enjoy needlework.
THS: What are three words you would use to describe yourself?
